This is a full-time, fixed-term position starting October 5 through June 2027.
Your Assignment
As a teacher, you will instruct grade 6 students in mathematics, Swedish, and Social Studies. You are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating instruction in your subjects based on the curriculum. You adapt instruction to meet students' needs, interests, and circumstances. You follow up, assess, grade, and document students' learning development. To create the right conditions for students, close collaboration with other teachers, the student support team, and school leadership is essential.
You will be part of the intermediate grades teaching team and work closely with your grade-level and subject colleagues in Swedish, mathematics, and Social Studies. You will collaborate on student matters, planning, assessment, grading, pedagogical development work, and systematic quality improvement.
Your Experience
For this position, you must have:
- Teacher certification with subject authorization for grade 6 in mathematics and Swedish
- Good digital competence
- Strong ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing
It is meriting if you also have:
- Subject authorization for grade 6 in Social Studies
- Experience teaching mathematics, Swedish, and Social Studies at the intermediate level
- Experience working with students requiring additional accommodations and special support
