Teacher of Swedish, Art and Visualization, and Design at Mimers Hus Gymnasium—on parental leave cover!
At Mimers Hus Gymnasium, we are looking for an engaged and driven teacher for the Technology Program to substitute for the regular teacher in Swedish, Art and Visualization, and Design. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to inspire and guide the technical talents of the future with a focus on language and design.
Mimers Hus Gymnasium was inaugurated in 2004 and is an attractive municipal upper secondary school located in the heart of Kungälv, just over 20 kilometers north of Gothenburg, which you can easily reach by express bus. The school currently has 1,500 students distributed across twelve national programs, both vocational preparation and academic preparation, as well as introductory programs. Additionally, the school offers sports profiles at local and national levels within all programs and student enterprise initiatives within several. We have 180 engaged and competent staff members at the school.
Duties
As a teacher with us, you plan, conduct, and evaluate instruction according to the school's governing documents, both independently and together with your colleagues and subject teams. You will also be involved in mentoring students, working closely with the school's student support team.

Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with authorization to teach upper secondary level Swedish and preferably Art and Design. Teaching experience is meriting but not required.
You are cooperative, engaged, and flexible with the ability to adapt instruction to students' needs. You have a positive attitude and the ability to act in line with the school's values and governing documents.
