Description
Starting in fall 2026, Sandeklevsskolan will be a dedicated upper secondary school with approximately 15 classes and students in grades 7–9. The school was formed by merging two operations into a single upper secondary organization.
We work from a collaborative perspective, where we recognize that student well-being begins in the classroom and is everyone's responsibility. At Sandeklevsskolan, the student support team works closely with both students and teaching teams to create the best possible conditions for each student's development, learning, and well-being.
We are now seeking a subject teacher for grades 7–9 with certification in one or more Social Studies subjects, Swedish, and Swedish as a Second Language. This is a fixed-term full-time position running through June 18, 2027.
Job Responsibilities
As a teacher at Sandeklevsskolan 7–9, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating instruction in Social Studies, Swedish, and Swedish as a Second Language for students in grades 7–9. You teach both whole classes and small groups based on students' needs and the organization's structure.
At our school, the quality of instruction is central. We work systematically to develop teaching and create the best conditions for each student to progress as far as possible in their learning.
You will:
plan and deliver instruction based on the curriculum and governing documents
analyze and monitor students' knowledge development
work closely with colleagues in teaching teams and subject groups
collaborate with student support and other professionals to create good learning environments.

Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
teacher certification with authorization to teach one or more Social Studies subjects, Swedish, and Swedish as a Second Language
strong didactic ability and clear pedagogical leadership
the ability to create structure, security, and positive relationships in the classroom
It is advantageous if you have:
experience teaching at the upper secondary level
experience working in multicultural and/or socioeconomically diverse school environments
experience implementing adaptations and creating inclusive learning environments
