JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a teacher at Kung Karl School, you play an important role in creating the best conditions for student learning, development, and goal achievement. You are responsible for planning, delivering, assessing, and following up on Spanish instruction for students in grades 6-9. In this role, you work both independently and collaboratively with colleagues to develop engaging, accessible teaching that is adapted to students' different needs and circumstances. By continuously monitoring and analyzing student progress, you help ensure that each student has the opportunity to reach their full potential in learning. You are part of the school's subject team, where you collectively drive pedagogical development forward and create good conditions for high-quality instruction. Collaboration and collegial learning are a natural part of everyday work. Mentoring is also part of the position. As a mentor, you support students' academic, social, and personal development and build strong relationships with students, guardians, colleagues, and the student support team. Together, you work to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment where all students can develop and feel included. You document and follow up your work in accordance with applicable regulations and actively contribute to the school's ongoing development efforts. As an engaged employee, you participate in the school's collective activities and work closely with your team, subject colleagues, and other professionals at the school. QUALIFICATIONS We are primarily looking for someone with teacher certification and authorization to teach Spanish for grades 6-9. We are also interested in teachers with other qualifications who have experience teaching Spanish at the relevant grade level. Alternatively, you are currently studying to become a teacher in the relevant subject and grade level. For us, it is important that you have a clear student focus, and we will place great emphasis on your personal suitability. As a person, you have a naturally coaching, motivating, and engaging approach. We expect you to create a safe learning environment built on mutual respect and communication. Furthermore, you have the ability to establish well-functioning collaborations with both students and guardians and colleagues to contribute to good cooperation in the workplace.
