The Preschool and Primary School Administration is one of Varberg Municipality's largest administrations with nearly 2,200 employees. Within our areas of operation—preschool, primary school, and child and student health—we are here for children and students. Together, we shape the future.
Ankarskolan is centrally located in Träslövsläge, approximately 5 km southwest of the central town of Varberg. The school houses 600 students in grades F–9. The school offers a varied outdoor environment that enables play and movement as well as proximity to sea, nature, and sports facilities.

WORK DUTIES
We are looking for a teacher in biology, physics, chemistry, technology, and mathematics for grades 7-9. Your assignment includes planning, implementing, and analyzing varied and differentiated instruction. The work involves joining a small team around grades 7-9 with good colleagues where you together have responsibility for and develop instruction. As part of the work, taking responsibility for and meeting students in need of special support.
As a teacher with us, you have a central role in creating a safe, developing, and motivating environment where we together create the best possible conditions for learning. By planning, implementing, and following up on your instruction, you give students the conditions to grow based on their unique needs and goals.

Main work duties:
• Teaching in grades 7-9 in biology, physics, chemistry, technology, and mathematics.
• Plan, lead, and evaluate instruction based on curriculum documents and chosen didactic strategies.
• Meet each student in their knowledge progression and strengthen their creativity, curiosity, and self-confidence through professional leadership.
• Develop stimulating learning environments that encourage learning, participation, and student influence.
• Work toward a holistic view of the student's school day through close collaboration with colleagues and guardians.
• Actively participate in the school's systematic quality work and contribute to a formative approach in daily pedagogy.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who:
• Have teacher certification with authorization to teach science in biology, physics, chemistry, technology, and mathematics for grades 7-9.
• Have the ability to base your instruction on proven experience and scientific foundation.
• Demonstrate skill in planning and systematically following up on operations within given parameters.
• Good assessment ability to monitor student development and provide constructive feedback.
• Clear planning ability to structure lessons and subject areas.
Salary form: Monthly salary.
Employment form: Permanent employment.
Duration: Permanent, start date: 2026-11-02 Start date by agreement.
