The school is located in the beautiful Toltorpsdalen with forest nearby, which offers many opportunities within the educational mission. The school is organized in work teams with a mix of teachers and after-school educators who share the day together. A total of 40 educators work at the school. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We are seeking an elementary school teacher for a temporary position during the spring term of 2027 in grade 5, as we have an employee who will be on leave. You will be part of a work team within the grade that includes both teachers and after-school educators. It is a class teacher position, and we aim for you to co-plan with colleagues and teach partially in both classes. The goal is to facilitate a good handover and smooth transition initially of both the assignment and the student group at the end of the fall term. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is a certified elementary school teacher with grades 1-6 certification and qualifications in Swedish, mathematics, and English, as well as science or social studies. We would appreciate your interest in the school's values-based work based on Chapter 1 of the curriculum. You have good knowledge of the school's governing documents and plan your teaching based on the curriculum. It is also advantageous if you have experience working with students who need special support as well as experience with diabetes. You show respect and consideration for those you meet in your professional role. You base your work on equal value for all and create a positive atmosphere in interactions. You have an open and positive attitude with the student's needs as the basis for your actions, and you work consciously with a norm-critical approach and a low-affective manner. You gain energy from contributing to others' learning and you create conditions for learning to take place. You have the ability to explain problems and information to different audiences and from different perspectives. You encourage dialogue, participation, and engagement. You listen to others in order to understand their needs. You actively seek out others' viewpoints and perspectives and are receptive to them by showing respect, consideration, and care.
