Odelsbergsskolan is a grades F–6 school in central Strömstad, with the sea, forest, and town as its nearest neighbors. Approximately 320 students attend the school, and there is also an after-school program on campus.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a teacher in the after-school program at Odelsbergsskolan, you are an important part of the students' entire school day. In this role, you balance work in the after-school program with support for students in instruction and collaborate closely with classroom teachers and other staff.
The workday begins with morning care, where you and your colleagues are responsible for creating a calm and safe start to the day. You participate in students' breakfast and are then a playground supervisor until school begins at 8:25.
During the school day, you work in the classroom and support students in instruction based on their individual needs and abilities. You contribute to students' learning, participation, and social development and work closely with teaching staff.
In the after-school program, you participate in planning, implementing, and following up on activities based on the curriculum. Together with your colleagues, you create a safe, meaningful, and stimulating program where students' interests, needs, and curiosity are valued.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who is trained as an after-school teacher or youth pedagogue. For a permanent position as an after-school teacher, teacher certification is required. You have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
As a person, you are confident and clear in your leadership and have an ease in building good relationships with students. You are flexible, responsible, and collaborate well with colleagues. You have an open and inclusive approach and can adapt your manner of interaction to students' different needs.
