Welcome to Kattarps School. We are a small school that focuses on safety, community, and relationships to ensure that each student has the best conditions to reach their full potential. We have three work teams: F-3, 4-6, and leisure time, each with a team leader. Days in our leisure time program include everything from outdoor play and physical activity to crafts. During these times, children develop their ability to think creatively, understand and follow rules, act in front of groups, build community, and take initiative. You will join the leisure time work team where you will work alongside four colleagues.
Job Responsibilities
As a leisure time teacher, you will lead the leisure time team, lead development work, and have knowledge of scheduling. As a leisure time teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on safe, stimulating, and educational leisure activities. You work from the students' needs and interests and create meaningful leisure time through play, creative activities, movement, and social interaction. You collaborate with school staff and contribute to students' development, learning, and safety throughout the entire school day.

Qualifications
You are a certified leisure time teacher or have another qualification assessed as equivalent.
It is a plus if you have experience teaching sports and/or music.
It is a plus if you have experience with scheduling, including both staff schedules for the school year and holiday schedules.
You must have strong leadership skills and be skilled at building relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians.
You must be able to create a sense of safety and be an adult that children can confide in and trust.
You are comfortable working both independently and in teams.
You are confident using digital tools.
You are experienced working with both individual children/teenagers and with groups.
