About the Workplace
Gransäterskolan is a grades F–9 school with approximately 500 students and two parallel classes in each grade level. Safety, relationships, and learning are at the center of our work, and we strive for an accessible learning environment where students have the opportunity to develop both academically and socially.
You will work closely with engaged colleagues in a team where collaboration, relationships, and student development are in focus.
We are now seeking a substitute for our after-school program. The position is located in the section serving our older students, from grade 3 and up. The after-school program consists of three departments that work together, and from 4:00 p.m. the activities combine.
The school is conveniently located near the city center with good public transportation connections and proximity to nature.
Your Responsibilities
As a teacher in the after-school program, you will help create a safe, meaningful, and developmental after-school experience for our students. Together with your colleagues, you will plan, implement, and follow up on activities in the after-school program. You will contribute to an environment where students develop independence, collaboration, and social skills.
During school hours, you will work at the middle school level and, together with the teachers in the unit, contribute to a safe and functional learning environment. You will be an important part of the team surrounding the students and contribute both to the after-school program's activities and to the shared work during the school day.
Qualifications
We would like you to be a certified teacher with qualifications in after-school programs. However, if you have other relevant education and experience working in after-school programs, you may also be a good fit for this position.

We are looking for someone who is confident and stable in your adult leadership and who has a natural ability to build good relationships while maintaining clear boundaries and expectations. You remain calm even in challenging situations and contribute to good teamwork.
With us, you need to be an adult who is present and active alongside the students. The activities can have a fast pace, and situations may arise that require you to quickly create calm, structure, and clarity. You need to be able to read situations, act when necessary, and set clear and respectful boundaries.
