We are looking for an additional colleague for Vreta- and Vallonskolan and adapted primary school in Östhammars municipality, located in the Gimo school area, which is an F–9 school in the Gimo school area. It is a school area located adjacent to forest and nature as well as a cross-country ski trail and swimming hall. Vreta- and Vallonskolan and adapted primary school in Östhammars municipality is a creative and developmental workplace where we offer students a developmental education during grades F–9. A total of approximately 450 students attend Vreta- and Vallonskolan's two school forms, primary school and adapted primary school. In the activities of Vreta- and Vallonskolan and adapted primary school, we have common goals and approaches where the work is based on a common annual cycle linked to Lgr22 and Lgra22. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES The position as teacher in the after-school program is a shared position where you as a teacher are part of both Vreta- and Vallonskolan's activities to create safety and meaningful activities during school time and in the after-school program. The position involves responsibility for and implementation of recess activities during the school day at Vallonskolan and after school, continued work with meaningful teaching opportunities for all our students in the after-school program's activities. Clear and relational leadership is important for all students' learning and knowledge development, safety, inclusion and well-being. In our activities we work with a promoting and preventive student welfare approach and we have high expectations for students and employees. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is a certified after-school teacher and who has great commitment to plan, structure and implement activities during recess and in the after-school program's activities. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and experience from primary school. We want you to have high expectations for students and a belief that everyone can succeed and reach their full potential. You are a clear leader in the school environment, have good structure and didactic skills. You adapt teaching based on each student's conditions and see school development as a natural part of the teaching assignment. You handle Swedish well in speech and writing and are accustomed to written planning, evaluations and analyses. With your positive attitude, you build good relationships with students, guardians and colleagues and contribute with opportunities and solutions. Your commitment stimulates learning. You encourage open communication and create a safe environment through genuine relationships. Education Requirements You are a certified after-school teacher with experience of teaching and responsibility for creating safety activities in school and after-school programs, alternatively have a pedagogical background. You handle Swedish well in speech and writing and build good relationships with students, guardians and colleagues. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and commitment to teaching and relational leadership. You are a clear leader with a focus on good relationships, safe school environment and structure and clarity in the classroom and other teaching arenas. Meritorious It is meritorious if you have experience of teaching in school and after-school programs as well as planning, implementation and analysis of activities. It is meritorious if you have experience leading systematic teaching development, for example in a previous role, and increased collaboration with student welfare for a promoting and preventive student welfare approach.
