Hagaskolan in central Umeå is an F–9 school with integrated and specialized hearing services. We are now looking for a teacher to work in the preschool class during the fall term!
Employment Information
The position is a fixed-term full-time appointment starting as soon as possible by agreement through December 18, 2026.
Your Responsibilities
In this role, you work as a preschool class teacher and in the after-school program. You have overall responsibility for planning, implementing, monitoring, evaluating, and developing instruction in the preschool class based on the curriculum's goals and guidelines. The role includes planning responsibility for preschool class instruction and shared mentorship for a student group of 25 students. You are responsible for creating a safe, stimulating, and educational environment where student development and learning are the focus.
The position is a vacation replacement at 40 hours per week and also includes collaboration in the after-school program with scheduled time. The assignment includes contributing to the after-school program's operations through close cooperation with colleagues to create a cohesive and meaningful day for students.

In your work, you guide children and groups of children, you spark curiosity, and you have a natural ability to build relationships and collaborate with children, guardians, and colleagues. Personal suitability is given great weight.
Requirements
Certified teacher with qualification in preschool class
Experience teaching in preschool class or preschool
Valid extract from the criminal record register
Good knowledge of Swedish language in speaking and writing
