Your role with us The position is located in the teaching team for grades F–3, where during the coming school year you will teach in preschool class together with two teaching colleagues. We strive for an organization with co-teaching, especially in core subjects, as we see that this creates the best conditions for both teaching and student learning. You have close access to support through the school's well-functioning support structures, student welfare, colleagues and principal. In your role as a teacher, you stimulate students' curiosity, desire to learn and sense of responsibility. Through clear and secure leadership, both in and outside the classroom, you create a learning environment characterized by respect, participation and good relationships. You plan, implement, follow up and evaluate instruction based on the curriculum's objectives and students' needs. With high and positive expectations for all students, you adapt instruction to give each student the best possible conditions to succeed. We value a relational approach where dialogue, trust and collaboration with students, guardians and colleagues are a natural part of the work. Digital tools and documentation are used to support instruction and systematic quality work. Together with colleagues, you actively contribute to the school's development and work to continuously improve operations. If you are new to the teaching profession, we offer mentoring support to give you a secure start in your profession. If you are an unqualified teacher, you can conduct instruction, while responsibility for grading and overall responsibility for instruction rests with a certified teacher. Who are we looking for? We are primarily looking for you who have teacher certification with authorization to conduct instruction in preschool class and grades 1-3 in the subjects sv, ma, eng, SO or NO in primary school. Secondly, we welcome you who have subject knowledge at university level within the above areas. Pedagogical education and previous experience of working in primary school or teaching children and students is seen as an advantage. We are looking for you who have the ability to adapt instruction based on students' different conditions and needs. You create instruction characterized by clear expectations, good study habits and desire to learn. Experience working with students in need of special support is a merit, as is the ability to support students in social development and conflict management. As a person you are engaged, positive and have a genuine interest in student learning and development. You are a secure pedagogical leader who builds trusting relationships with students, guardians and colleagues. Through a professional approach, you contribute to a good work environment and good collaboration in the teaching team. We value that you are development-oriented and reflect on both your own and the organization's approaches to contribute to the school's continued development. You use digital tools as a natural part of instruction, planning, communication and documentation. To thrive in the role, you need to be communicative, receptive and well-grounded in the teaching profession's ethical principles. You have a strong ability to analyze, follow up and document student learning development and create conditions for all students to succeed.
