Our educational activities are located in our three town centers Ramnäs, Virsbo and Surahammar.
It includes preschool, preschool class, primary school, adapted primary school, after-school care and youth center.
Hammarskolan is a development-oriented and pleasant school located in Surahammar with proximity to public transportation. Within the school's area are two main buildings, dining hall, gymnasium, artificial turf pitch and ice rink.
The school has adapted classrooms for PREST subjects and science instruction.
We have a special teaching group and a smaller support group. We have a maximum of 24 students in each class.

DUTIES
We are looking for you who are a qualified teacher in English and social studies subjects for instruction in grades 7-9, with merit in other practical/aesthetic subjects.
Your duties include, among other things, responsibility for instruction in your subject(s), documentation and assessment of student learning, follow-up and analysis of results in order to improve students' goal achievement.
You are responsible for meeting students in the best way based on their individual needs and together with additional educational staff you take responsibility for the individual's and group's development.
Together, a safe and enjoyable school day is shaped with the students' best interests in focus.
Mentor responsibility for a class is included.
QUALIFICATIONS
You are a certified teacher for grades 7-9 in English and social studies subjects.
You are structured and clear in your instruction. You can individualize content and methods to deliver the instruction needed for students to learn, develop and feel safe.
You have good subject didactic knowledge, good leadership ability and it shows in your instruction.
With your solution-focused approach you have a positive attitude and see it as your responsibility to create good and sustainable relationships with students, guardians and colleagues.
You have good collaboration skills and look at the whole picture for each student.
Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent, start date: By agreement, recruitment is ongoing and filling of the position may occur before the application deadline.
Before you can be employed you need to show a valid certificate from the police's suspicion register and from the criminal record, which is not more than 6 months old.
