Tallbackens School is a newly built and modern school located in the Strömsbro district, beautifully situated with forest right on the grounds. The educational activities at the school include preschool class, primary school grades 1-6, after-school activities, and youth club. The school currently has 230 students. At Tallbackens School, we actively work to increase student school attendance. We actively work with relational leadership and students' literacy competence in all subjects. At Tallbackens School, we work with formative instruction. This means we work to clarify and create understanding of the learning goals students should aim for, use methods and tasks that make students active and where student knowledge is made visible. We provide feedback on student work aimed at advancing learning and work to activate students as learning resources for each other. We work to help students become owners of their own learning. We are now seeking an engaged teacher who wants to become part of our team and who is passionate about formative instruction and creating an active and enjoyable learning environment where student participation, responsibility, and literacy competence are central. 1 position(s). JOB DUTIES As a teacher in grades 4-6, you will have the opportunity to inspire, challenge, and support students in their knowledge development. Together with your colleagues, you contribute to a joyful, varied, and quality school day where student development and well-being are in focus. Work is conducted in close collaboration with other educators, student health services, guardians, and is performed according to current goals and guidelines. Your job duties include: • Teaching in grades 4-6. • Having class responsibility and responsibility for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of lessons. • Actively work with students' literacy competence in all subjects. • Assessment of student needs and adaptation of instruction according to their circumstances. • Mentorship. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has: • Teacher degree and teacher certification with eligibility to teach grades 4-6 • Knowledge of the primary school curriculum and are familiar with it. • Ability to express yourself well in the Swedish language both orally and in writing. It is a merit for the position if you have eligibility in multiple subjects, including the subjects art and music. Knowledge of and experience working with digital tools, for example documentation in Unikum or Office. And you are clear and confident in your leadership. • Foster open dialogue and adapt your language based on the current situation and target group.
