Metapontum is an independent school serving grades F-9 with approximately 620 students. The school has specializations in music and mathematics and also offers a nationally recruiting advanced program in mathematics for grades 7-9. About the Position We are looking for a teacher in mathematics and Swedish for grades 4-6. The position also includes mentoring responsibilities. This is a temporary full-time position covering a teacher's parental leave, from November 2, 2026 to October 29, 2027. We are looking for you with qualifications to teach mathematics and Swedish. We want you to have strong collaboration skills, be good at building positive relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues, and to include students in the subject matter in an enthusiastic and inspiring way. We also see that you are a pedagogical and clear leader who can structure and plan your work efficiently. You are engaged, flexible, and proactive. We expect your goal is to create a developmental, positive, and safe learning environment for your students. You have strong Swedish language skills, both spoken and written. We place great importance on personal suitability. Qualifications Requirements Teaching certification with qualifications to teach mathematics and Swedish Merits Work experience as a teacher in primary school Experience working with Schoolsoft and Google Workspace for Education Other Information We apply individual salary setting.
