For the spring term 2027, Nyhemsskolan needs to recruit a teacher qualified to teach grades 4-6. Nyhemsskolan is a relatively large F-6 school in Katrineholm with a focus on safety, knowledge, and development. As a teacher at Nyhemsskolan in Katrineholm, you will be a mentor in grade 3 during spring 2027, and then follow the class to grade 4, taking responsibility for the group through the middle grades. You will be part of a teaching team with other mentors, special education teachers, and student counselors. You will collaborate with the school's student health team and other colleagues in the F-6 grade work group. You will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating instruction in the subjects you teach. You are responsible for assessing students' overall learning in instruction, values-based work and social competencies, as well as documenting the same. You are responsible for following up on student results, analyzing them, and taking measures to improve the results. Furthermore, you drive together with other staff a program that helps students become secure, creative, and curious. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a certified teacher and hold certification to teach grades 4-6. If you have qualifications in Swedish as a second language as well as experience with language development teaching methods, that is a merit. We would like to see that you have experience in primary school operations and a strong interest in continued professional development. The role requires that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both oral and written, as well as good IT skills.
