Your New Job We are seeking an engaged and certified primary school teacher for a temporary position at our middle school who wants to help create a safe, educational, and inspiring school environment for our students. The role includes being a contact teacher for a group of students. Together with your work team, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on instruction so that each student is given the opportunity to develop according to their needs and potential. You create instruction that is meaningful, educational, and challenging, with a focus on students' knowledge development and well-being. Welcome to Us Attarpsskolan F-6 is located in central Bankeryd along the western shore of Vättern, approximately 1 mile north of Jönköping and has proximity to both waterways and forests. You can easily reach Bankeryd by bus, train, bicycle, and car. Attarpsskolan's approximately 50 employees collaborate and teach the school's 400 students in grades F-6. If you have not yet received your certification or are near the end of your studies, you are also welcome to apply. Previous experience working as a teacher of English and Swedish in grades 4-6 is desirable. You are well acquainted with the curriculum and well grounded in the primary school's mission and its governing documents. You strive to develop each student's abilities, both academically and socially, and are a person who is there for all students in the school. We want you to be a good leader, both in the classroom and with colleagues, and for your positive attitude to be contagious to those you meet. You treat students and guardians professionally and communicate responsibly. As a teacher, it is important that you collaborate well with school management, develop co-leadership at the workplace, and are a good ambassador for both the workplace and the teaching profession. You are flexible and can work in different work teams. You have a strong command of the Swedish language, both verbally and in writing. Basic IT skills are a requirement.
