At our school, students, guardians, and staff know each other, and together we build a school environment where safety, participation, and high expectations go hand in hand. With approximately 150 students in grades F–6, classes of about 20 students, and well-functioning support around instruction, you have good conditions to focus on what matters most – creating learning, development, and hope for the future for each student. What you will do You will replace a grade 5 class teacher who is on parental leave, primarily until the end of the spring term. The position is filled under the condition that it does not need to be used for already permanently employed staff. As a grade 5 teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on instruction based on the curriculum's goals. You create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment where students are given the conditions to develop as far as possible in their learning and personal development. The position includes, among other things: Plan, implement, and evaluate instruction in accordance with current regulations in subjects such as Swedish, mathematics, social studies, art, and music. Adapt instruction based on students' different needs and circumstances. Follow up, document, and assess students' development of knowledge. Work actively with support measures and accommodations in the classroom as needed. Create and maintain order, safety, and good relationships in the student group. Be responsible for development conversations and continuous contact with guardians. Collaborate with colleagues, student health services, and other professionals to promote students' learning and well-being. Participate in the grades 4-6 work team for planning and coordination around students' entire school day. Have good knowledge of the curriculum, regulations, and assessment. Can plan, implement, and adapt instruction based on students' different needs and circumstances. Have the ability to create good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. Are confident in your leadership and can create order and a positive learning environment in the class. Work in a structured manner and have good ability to organize and prioritize your work. Have good digital competence and use digital tools as a natural support in instruction. Meritorious qualifications Experience teaching at the middle grade level. Experience working with individual accommodations and support in a class.
