Milboskolan is a grades F-6 school located in the pleasant Hille area in northern Gävle. The operations are divided into two buildings, F-3 and 4-6, and has approximately 350 students. Together with schools in Björke, Trödje, and Bergby, Milboskolan belongs to Bergby Rectors' Area.

WORK DUTIES
As a teacher in grades 4-6, you will have the opportunity to inspire, challenge, and support students in their knowledge development. Together with your colleagues, you contribute to an enjoyable, varied, and high-quality school day where student development and well-being are in focus.
As a teacher at Milboskolan, you will work with:
• Teaching in Math and Science.
• Class responsibility as well as responsibility for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of lessons.
• Mentorship.
• Together with your colleagues, create a good, enjoyable, and varied school day with students' best interests in focus.
• Challenge and support students so they achieve good academic results and adapt your teaching based on each student's needs and circumstances.
• Collaboration with other educators, student support services, guardians, and other external partners.
• Work is performed according to established goals and guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who has:
• Teacher certification and teaching license with authorization to teach grades 4-6 and the subjects Math and Science.
• You are familiar with and have knowledge of the primary school curriculum.
• You have the ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
• You have knowledge of and experience working with digital tools, such as documentation in Unikum or Office.
To succeed in the role, you are:
• Organized: You are structured and plan your work in a thoughtful manner.
• Relationship-building: You take initiative in social situations and have the ability to build trust in your professional relationships.
• Collaboration-oriented: You have a humble approach in your collaboration with colleagues, students, and guardians.
• Clear leadership: You demonstrate clear and secure leadership where you naturally motivate students and create an environment where they feel comfortable and well. You have a strong ability to create open dialogue and adapt your communication style to the situation and audience.
As a final candidate, you must be able to provide a criminal record certificate from the police for work in school or preschool. This should not be attached to your application.
