We are now recruiting several temporary staff members for our kitchen department, including both long-term temporary positions and hourly workers. We're looking for you to help make mealtime one of the highlights of the day for children, students, and seniors in Arvika Municipality!
Work Tasks
Rosengårdens förskola is seeking a kitchen assistant for a 100% temporary position starting October 1, 2026 through February 26, 2027. The work as a kitchen assistant mainly involves serving prepared meals to students, preparing salad stations, washing dishes, cleaning, and ordering supplies and portions. You will work together with your colleagues to create good meals for the school's students.
Kyrkebyskolan is seeking a cook for a 100% temporary position starting October 6, 2026 through February 26, 2027, with possible opportunity for continuation after the temporary assignment ends. You will be part of a team consisting of cooks and kitchen assistants. Your main tasks will include preparing lunch portions for preschool, school, and elderly care, preparing special diets, and preparing evening meals for the municipality's senior residences. Students at Kyrkebyskolan eat their meals in the dining hall located directly adjacent to the kitchen, so preparation, serving, and dishwashing are included in the work tasks. Self-inspection procedures, cleaning, and certain administrative tasks are also part of the position.

Qualifications
For the kitchen assistant position, we see that you have experience working in a kitchen, and it is desirable that you have computer skills. It is also an advantage if you have knowledge of special diets and self-inspection procedures. As a person, you are responsible, independent, flexible, and have good teamwork abilities, and we will place great emphasis on personal suitability. It is desirable that you have a B driver's license.
For the cook position, we see that you are trained as a cook at the upper secondary school level or have other training that the employer considers equivalent. You have good knowledge of self-inspection and food hygiene, and we would like to see that you have several years of experience with similar work tasks in restaurants or large-scale kitchens. It is also desirable if you have previous experience with the Mashie dietary software and with special diets. It is important that you have good computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new computer systems. As a person, you are responsible, independent, flexible, and have good teamwork abilities. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability. Weekend work is included, and you work according to a 4-week schedule with one scheduled weekend during the period. It is desirable that you have a B driver's license.
