The Medicines Department at Skåne University Hospital (SUS) consists of three hospital pharmacy units that support care units and clinics with pharmaceutical expertise. At the Medicines Department, approximately 100 employees work, including department pharmacists, clinical pharmacists, pharmaceutical assistants, case handlers, and chief pharmacists. The majority are based at SUS in Lund and Malmö, but several colleagues are also located at hospitals in Ystad, Trelleborg, and Landskrona.
We are now seeking a pharmaceutical assistant/warehouse worker for the Hospital Pharmacy Unit in Lund who will work with fluid cart service in our fluid warehouse.

DUTIES
Your work tasks include all aspects of fluid cart service work, which is part of medication support. The work involves a primary placement in our fluid warehouse with tasks such as warehouse management, filling fluid carts, ordering and receiving deliveries, inspections, and maintenance of the medication inventory (warehouse).
As part of the role, you will participate with the team in developing procedures for work and improving work processes within fluid cart service.
Your work involves extensive collaboration within your own group of pharmacists and pharmaceutical assistants, as well as with colleagues in the Medicines Department and other healthcare professionals at the hospital.
Work tasks may change as the operations develop.
QUALIFICATIONS
We welcome you if you have experience in warehouse work and would prefer that you have some experience working with medications, for example as a pharmaceutical assistant or through other experience that the employer considers equivalent. It is particularly meritorious if you have experience with hospital pharmacy and medication service/fluid cart service to care units. We see it as an asset if you have previously worked in health and medical care. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. Forklift license is meritable.
As a person, we see that you have good interpersonal skills and work well with those around you. You are responsible and have the ability to independently organize and structure your work. You place great emphasis on accuracy in all work tasks. Improvement work is ongoing for increased medication safety, which requires curiosity and a flexible approach to work. It is an advantage if you have experience working together with other professions and if you are stimulated by multidisciplinary working methods.
Large parts of the work are performed manually, and you therefore need to be comfortable with physical work.
