The Role As Warehouse Manager, you actively ensure that the spare parts flow functions efficiently; that spare parts are purchased cost-effectively, that the warehouse is well-organized, and that inventory is continuously optimized. An important part of the role is to provide support to mechanics on spare parts matters. The position includes the following work tasks: Procurement of spare parts, tools, and consumables Unpacking goods and organizing inventory, as well as handling returns Continuously ensure spare parts are registered, inventory balances are correct, and spare parts locations are clearly marked Inventory management (obsolescence, scrap, article number changes, reorder points, and maximum stock levels) Warranty management, creating and following up warranty cases with suppliers Conduct inventories Invoice coding and review Loading/unloading with forklift You will be based in Karlstad, and the workshop in Karlstad will be your main workplace. You will also provide important support to our other workshops in the Värmland Traffic Area, and occasional day trips may occur. The work is conducted in close collaboration with other warehouse staff and maintenance planners. We have expanded our operations recently, so you will join a group of experienced colleagues with good conditions for a thorough introduction. Qualifications and Personal Attributes We see that you have some form of technical educational background or have worked with similar tasks. It is an advantage if you have experience from the automotive industry and a forklift certificate. The role requires that you are comfortable taking responsibility and have the ability to anticipate financial implications. As Warehouse Manager, it is important to be responsive to mechanics' needs; therefore, it is essential that you are a communicative person. You are also thorough in your work and have the ability to organize and prioritize. You have good technical competence and good computer skills. About the Position The position is full-time at 100% based in Karlstad. We use probationary employment and individual salary setting. You report to the Maintenance Manager for the traffic area.
