Main Responsibilities
As a warehouse employee at our warehouse/logistics center in Jönköping, you ensure that food products are delivered on time and in good quality to our stores around the country. Your daily tasks consist of order picking where you pick pallets of everyday grocery items—everything from canned goods, fruit, pasta to yogurt and frozen vegetables depending on which department you work in. You'll be assisted by a picking truck and a headset with voice-guided picking (pick by voice). Since we continuously strive to improve our service to stores so that store shelves are never empty, it's important that you work with high efficiency and quality in your daily work. You'll be part of a large logistics flow with many actors, and given the various challenges involved, it's especially important that you meet deadlines, follow safety and organization rules, and help other departments when needed. We're looking for you with a positive attitude who enjoys taking responsibility, whether it's respecting schedules, maintaining good quality, or reaching set goals. You're comfortable being evaluated on your performance and are motivated by clear feedback on a job well done. To thrive in the role as a warehouse employee, you need good physical fitness and to take care of your health, as you'll be performing repetitive lifting. Therefore, it's important to us that you work in an ergonomically correct way and appreciate keeping your body active. As a person, it's important that you have good collaboration with your coworkers and contribute to a positive atmosphere in the group, regardless of different perspectives, cultures, backgrounds, and languages. At the same time, you need to be comfortable working independently in the warehouse, as you move across large areas with limited social contact while performing your tasks.
Experience and Knowledge
You must be at least 18 years old
Swedish or English
Forklift certification is a merit but not required as we train our employees
Previous experience with physical work and similar work environments is a merit
It's a plus if you've been or are active in sports
It's a merit if you have experience from the restaurant industry
