SIA "Daugavpils reģionālā slimnīca" (Daugavpils, Vasarnīcu iela 20) The Clinical Diagnostic Laboratory Department provides 24×7 services to hospital inpatients and outpatient clients. We invite you to join our team of laboratory specialists (profession classifier code 321204). Job Responsibilities: perform verification of new equipment and methods and implement them into operation; monitor Laboratory equipment maintenance and rational use of reagents; perform immunochemical, biochemical, hematological, general clinical, and coagulation testing, and monitor internal and external quality control programs; be responsible for the accuracy, correctness, and confidentiality of test results; ensure proper documentation in accordance with Laboratory, hospital, and regulatory requirements; collaborate with colleagues in the Laboratory and other hospital departments. Requirements: higher education - master's degree in biology, chemistry, pharmacy (pharmacist) or biomedicine; desirable education in the medical field (at least secondary education); laboratory specialist certificate and registration in the Registry of Healthcare Professionals; desired practical work experience as a laboratory specialist; knowledge of standard LVS EN ISO 15189 – Quality and competence requirements for medical laboratories; good computer skills; positive and energetic attitude toward work, ability to take responsibility and work in a team; willingness to work summary working hours (in shifts and on days off).
