Landscaping Worker
(permanent position)
Key Job Responsibilities:
ensure availability of garden waste composting site for residents during municipality-approved working hours;
organize and monitor acceptance of garden biological waste, verify compliance of incoming waste with requirements;
record and compile data on volumes of incoming waste;
regularly maintain and keep the composting site work areas, equipment, and facilities clean and orderly;
maintain, care for, and manage the composting site territory and adjacent road areas, including timely grass mowing, removal of shrub branches, weeding of plantings, and mulching of beds, clearing of driveways;
operate portable branch shredder, maintain composting site order using tractor;
participate in municipality territory maintenance and landscaping during winter season.
Position Requirements and Necessary Knowledge:
general secondary education;
Category B driver's license;
qualification certificate for work with hedge trimmer and chainsaw;
ability to use various household power tools and simple work tools;
ability to perform simple repair and maintenance work;
work experience in horticulture.
