Note: female applicants only. The position involves assisting a woman with all daily activities such as hygiene, meals, and household tasks both at home and outside the home. The schedule is 8 AM–6 PM on weekdays. The client appreciates someone who is cheerful and positive, attentive, self-motivated, and responsible. You must be comfortable with animals and not allergic to fur (there is a dog in the home). Due to the client's illness, she may sometimes come across as unfriendly but not aggressive, so it is essential that you don't take things personally and can remain professional in your work. It is extremely important that you speak and understand Swedish perfectly! The woman wears compression garments, which means long nails are not practical. As an assistant, you will serve as the client's extended memory and provide support through phone calls with authorities, which requires you to be attentive and speak fluent Swedish.
