This client uses a Permobil and lives an active life with a dog that requires you to have experience with larger dogs. As an assistant, you will help the client activate and engage with the sometimes energetic dog, and of course you will go out with the dog in all weather conditions. Your workplace is wherever the client is. This may involve cycling, walks, swimming, and other activities. Appropriate clothing for weather and activities is required. It is very important that you are a positive and empathetic person who can be supportive during varying moods, as the client may experience fluctuating well-being due to psychological stress. You also need to be present as support during various conversations as well as planning the day and week for different activities. Assistance is needed with hygiene, cooking, cleaning/laundry, transfers, and other daily life tasks. You need to have excellent Swedish language skills in both speaking and writing, and you must be responsible, practical, organized, have good attention to detail, and show initiative. The work typically involves longer shifts and includes on-call time during the night.
