About the Position Personal assistance is a service under LSS (the Act on Support and Services for People with Certain Disabilities). As a personal assistant, you will primarily help the customer with everything that arises in daily life and with basic needs. Your work involves respecting the customer's self-determination and integrity, and helping ensure their everyday life runs smoothly. Each assistance arrangement is uniquely tailored to the customer's life, so work tasks may vary depending on the workplace. The customer's individual needs guide your workday. Work may include assistance with mobility and personal care as well as household tasks and activities inside and outside the home. In this position, you will drive the customer's car as part of your work. Who Are You? The role of personal assistant requires a strong ability to build good relationships. We therefore seek someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It's also important that you can take your own initiative and see what needs to be done. For personal assistance to work well, there must be good personal chemistry between you as an assistant and the customer. For this position, you must: be willing to work with a 36-year-old woman living in Åsbro have good knowledge of Swedish have a driver's license (manual) and access to your own car be able to work in a household with pets be able to swim and accompany the customer to the swimming pool be smoke-free during work hours It's a plus if you: have experience working as a personal assistant or in a similar care profession have previous experience with educational work share the customer's interests in shopping, interior design, travel, and fitness Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. Working Hours, Position Level, and Salary The current employment is "for the duration of the assistance assignment" at approximately 75% position level. The position involves work on weekdays and every other weekend according to schedule. Weekday hours are 8:00–17:00 and weekend hours are 10:00–18:00. Salary: Fixed hourly rate by agreement and other compensation according to collective agreement. Start Date: Immediately or by agreement.
