About the role
As a quality technician, you will play a central role in handling and investigating quality deviations within the assembly process. You are responsible for analyzing problems, identifying root causes, and ensuring that appropriate corrective actions are implemented. The role also involves close contact with suppliers regarding complaints as well as verification of the quality of incoming materials and components.
Your main responsibilities include:
Review and assess cases of suspected quality deviations
Gather facts and conduct root cause analyses
Assess the scope, severity, and priority of deviations
Make decisions on and follow up corrective actions
Convene and lead quality meetings with relevant functions
Perform inspections of incoming materials and components
Handle complaints and quality issues with suppliers
Actively participate in and contribute to continuous improvement work
The assignment requires presence in Örnsköldsvik.
About you
We are looking for someone who has a strong focus on quality and a genuine interest in technology and improvement work. You have experience working with quality issues in a production-oriented environment and feel confident in analyzing deviations, conducting investigations, and making well-informed decisions.
Requirements for the role:
Competence in surface treatment
Higher education in quality engineering or production engineering, or equivalent competence acquired through experience
Practical experience with quality work in industry or production
Good understanding of technical documentation and drawings
Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
As a person, you are driven, solution-oriented, and like to take initiative to move work forward. You work in a structured and goal-oriented manner, communicate and collaborate easily with different functions, and thrive in a coordinating role with many contact points. Furthermore, you have good analytical abilities and can make well-informed decisions even in complex situations.
It is a merit if you have experience with SAP.
