About the Operation You will become part of an international industrial operation that develops and manufactures advanced products for the energy and power industry. The facility in Öjebyn is in an expansive phase and faces continued growth in the coming years. You will join the quality department, which currently consists of seven employees with expertise in quality engineering, quality assurance, and measurement technology. The department serves as an important support function to both production and engineering, and plays a central role in product quality, complaints, and continuous improvements. About the Role As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for your own product area with a focus on insulators, the operation's largest product group. Although quality issues in the area are generally few, high demands are placed on process control and preventive quality work. This is a role for you who want to be out in the operation and work close to production. The work consists largely of production support, where you help the organization solve quality-related challenges and ensure that processes function as they should. You will be an important part of identifying root causes, driving improvement initiatives, and creating long-term sustainable solutions. In the role you will, among other things: Support production on quality-related matters Handle customer complaints and deviations Plan and coordinate customer trials Participate in customer visits related to the product area Work with root cause analyses and practical problem-solving Drive improvement work according to LEAN Six Sigma principles Ensure robust and process-secure manufacturing flows Collaborate closely with production, engineering, procurement, and other quality functions You will work with various materials and processes, including fiberglass composites, paint, plastic, glass, aluminum, and silicone. We would like to see that you have: Degree in engineering, materials engineering, or similar field Good knowledge of Swedish and English, spoken and written Experience in quality work within manufacturing industry is a merit Knowledge of LEAN Six Sigma is a plus, but can also be built on site through internal training and practical work. About the Assignment This is a consulting assignment where you will be employed by Framtiden and work as a consultant for our client in Öjebyn. The assignment initially spans 12 months with good opportunities for extension or continued employment with the client in the long term.
