Our facility in Karlskoga specializes in the manufacturing and packaging of semi-solid and liquid products. The Karlskoga site offers a wide range of services, including terminal sterilization and WFI production. The facility also has specialized infrastructure designed to meet the high requirements for the production of controlled pharmaceuticals, ophthalmic solutions, and sterile semi-solid preparations.
About the Position:
As a Quality Engineer for Raw Materials, you are responsible for qualifying raw materials, packaging materials, and the supplier chain for these materials. You also oversee the processes that govern sampling, testing, and approval of raw materials before use in production.
Raw Materials work is largely based on cross-functional collaboration. This means the position requires strong ability to cooperate, lead, document and coordinate activities, as well as make decisions in connection with investigation work, change requests, and project work.
A natural and important part of the work involves collaboration and communication with our suppliers, where you set requirements and follow up on agreed quality-related activities. This includes visiting suppliers during major complaint investigations to gain knowledge about the manufacture of various raw materials and thus assess and address unacceptable quality risks.
The work is varied and requires high flexibility to prioritize and plan both quick assignments and longer-term improvement initiatives.
Your Profile:
We are looking for someone who is thorough, engaged, and enjoys collaborating with others. You are communicative, solution-oriented, and enjoy driving matters forward together with both colleagues and suppliers. At the same time, you have the ability to work in a structured manner, prioritize in a varied workday, and contribute to continuous improvements. You have the ability to write reports in both Swedish and English.
University degree at Bachelor or Master level in natural sciences, chemistry, or engineering.
Experience with quality work.
You must be able to communicate well in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
Previous experience working in pharmaceutical manufacturing (advantageous).
