About the job
In this role, you ensure that quality assurance routines and processes are in place and continue to develop. You contribute to a strong quality culture by improving methods, tools and processes, and making complex information understandable and useful for different audiences.
Your responsibilities
Conduct root cause analyses and solve complex quality problems.
Develop, analyze and follow up reports and statistical bases.
Modernize and automate reporting and analysis tools.
Drive quality improvement initiatives and projects.
Support operations with work methods and best practices in quality.
Collaborate with production, market, research and development, and procurement on quality-related matters.
Work location
The position is based in Fagersta and work is performed on-site.
Your profile
You have an engineering degree in a relevant field. Your interest in quality work, analysis and problem-solving will help you succeed in the role, and you are accustomed to collaborating with different functions and technical expertise. You have the ability to communicate complex matters in a pedagogical way and have good knowledge of Swedish and English.
It is a merit if you have:
experience automating reports, worked with Excel, Power BI, MiniTab or similar.
knowledge of powder metallurgy and geometric product specifications.
training in Six Sigma at Black Belt or Green Belt level.
You work in a structured and independent manner while enjoying close collaboration with others. With an analytical and curious approach, you dive deep into complex matters, build trust and help colleagues translate insights into concrete actions.
About the team
You will join a quality function of eleven people consisting of quality engineers and measurement technicians who support operations both proactively with analyses and more practically in quality and measurement-related matters.
