About the role
As Quality Manager, you have overall responsibility for all quality-related processes within the company. You work cross-functionally throughout the organization and ensure that our processes, products, and working methods meet high requirements from customers, authorities, and certification bodies.
The role involves close collaboration with market, sales, procurement, and production. You report directly to the CEO, are part of the management team, and have ongoing contact with both customers, suppliers, authorities, and our international operations.
This is a role for you who wants to combine strategic work with operational implementation and who enjoys creating structure, developing processes, and driving change.
Your main areas of responsibility
Responsible for and develop the company's quality and food safety work
Plan, lead, and implement certification processes
Ensure compliance with customer requirements, regulatory requirements, and internal quality standards
Drive quality development cross-functionally throughout the organization
Lead and develop food safety work in production
Responsible for supplier approvals and quality assurance of suppliers
Be system responsible for product-related quality administrative systems
Participate in the development and establishment of the facility at Gruvan from a quality perspective
Coordinate quality work, documentation, and strategies with international operations
We are looking for you as
You are a committed leader with a strong quality focus and a good ability to create collaboration between different functions. You have a structured approach, are analytical, and enjoy taking initiative and driving matters from idea to implementation.
Qualifications
Food science degree or other equivalent higher education
Documented experience leading and implementing certifications such as BRCGS, FSSC 22000, ISO 9001, or equivalent
Experience with quality audits, either as an auditor or responsible for audit work
Strong knowledge of quality management in the food industry
Excellent ability to communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
Meritorious
Experience with systems such as Validoo and GS1
Experience with personnel responsibility or leadership
Training in quality, food safety, or relevant standards
Experience with project work in production or process industry
