The Pain Center is part of the Neuro-Head-Neck Center (NHHC) at Norrlands University Hospital (NUS). The goal of the operations is to conduct nationally leading highly specialized assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation for patients with pain in the northern region. The operations consist of a Pain Clinic, Pain Rehabilitation Clinic and rehabilitation programs, staffed by approximately 35 employees.
In the rehabilitation operations there are two assessment teams, which evaluate patients referred to us, and two program teams, which conduct rehabilitation programs with the goal of providing our patients with tools to develop coping strategies to maintain or increase their work capacity.
Since one of our two curators will be on parental leave for a period, we are now seeking a curator who wants to strengthen our team! The position is currently a 12-month temporary contract. Perhaps it suits you who are at the beginning of your career and want to try different workplaces, but also you who are in the middle of your career, but feel you want to strengthen your expertise in the pain field?

WORK TASKS
As a curator with us, you contribute to taking good care of others and helping people feel better.
With us you work in a team together with a physiotherapist, occupational therapist, psychologist, and physician. In the team, you provide the psychosocial expertise in assessment, intervention, and follow-up. Your focus is largely on psychosocial support and you meet patients both in groups and individually. You also share the role of contact person to patients participating in the program together with your colleagues on the team. Contact with external actors such as employers, health centers, and municipalities occurs.
We continuously work with development and improvement of our operations and see participation in development work as a natural part of the work.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who are trained as a social worker, preferably a licensed healthcare social worker, with some years of experience in the profession.
You have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. As a person you are attentive, feel confident in your role as a curator, and have good empathetic ability. You are organized and can independently plan your day, while at the same time you have a good ability to collaborate in a team. We would like you to be clear in your communication and that you, once you have settled into the work, take responsibility for your tasks yourself and can make necessary prioritizations.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability and good references.
