About You
You have upper secondary education and ideally experience in customer service or telephone support. Since you will be working with many different types of systems, this position requires both strong computer skills and the ability to efficiently manage a variety of IT systems.
You find problem-solving rewarding and are driven to deliver good service. You are accustomed to managing multiple tasks in parallel without losing focus on details. You engage with customers professionally both by phone and in writing.
Previous experience in transportation, service areas, and digitalization is a plus. We also consider geographic knowledge of Kalmar County as an advantage. Swedish fluency in both speech and writing is required. Knowledge of other languages is a plus. In this role, good collaboration skills and flexibility are important qualities.

In our customer service, you are the gateway and become Kalmar länstrafik's voice to our passengers.
As a traffic assistant for special passenger transport, you and your colleagues are responsible for coordinating traffic efficiently, with passenger safety and service at the center. You handle bookings for trips with transport services for people with disabilities, medical transport, and other demand-responsive traffic in Region Kalmar County.
Our customer service is staffed every day of the week, year-round. Your working hours will therefore follow a schedule where your work time varies between 06:55-18:00, weekdays as well as weekends. Your position will be at our head office in Högsby.
