Bauska Municipality Establishment "Bauskas apvienības pārvalde," Registration No. 50900038281, announces an open position for a Choir Director in the Vecsaules Parish Department.
Requirements for Applicants:
Education: Higher musical education corresponding to the field.
General Knowledge and Skills:
Ability to organize, make decisions consistently, and take responsibility for your work.
Skill in public speaking, working in a team, and building cooperation with the community.
Main Job Duties:
Perform choir director duties in the choir collective;
Conduct regular and full-fledged rehearsals according to the established schedule, following the conductor's instructions and recommendations;
Ensure a high-quality and valuable level of the choir collective's creative work;
Plan the collective's organizational and artistic activities together with the choir conductor;
Participate with the collective in parish and regional celebrations, competitions, festivals, and other events;
Participate in compiling the collective's repertoire and ensure repertoire mastery based on the collective members' abilities, together with the conductor;
Manage piano playing, accurately master the musical notation, and know how to apply voice-setting methodology when working with the collective.
Together with the choir conductor, ensure the mastery of the General Song and Dance Festival repertoire and prepare the collective for participation in the General Latvian Song and Dance Festivals.
