Quality Inspector for the AM Workshop In Siemens Energy's new workshop, turbine components are manufactured and repaired using both new and conventional production methods. After several years of developing processes and methods for additive manufacturing, Siemens Energy in Finspång is now in serial production and repair using so-called Selective Laser Melting (SLM) technology. This is commonly referred to as 3-D Printing. The entire department currently consists of approximately 47 people. Simons Energy is in an exciting and challenging phase where new products from several different Siemens sites are being introduced into production. We are now seeking a quality inspector. You will work with technically advanced components manufactured in modern machines in both small and large series with great variation. The role includes developing and improving work methods and processes. We only accept applications via email. For questions regarding the position, please contact: [email protected] Responsibilities Manual measurement / Visual inspection of components Blueprint reading Form & Position tolerances Documentation management Deviation management Participate in project work Process development Work proactively and provide suggestions for improvements Qualifications It is a requirement that you have experience with blueprint reading and Form & Position tolerances. Good computer skills It is a plus if you have experience with deviation management. You are goal-oriented, have strong self-motivation, and enjoy challenges to help the operation reach production targets. You are meticulous, work methodically, and maintain organization.
