We stand on a stable foundation with a good reputation, over 30 direct customers, and a strong network of skilled consultants within systems and embedded development, project management, and other technology-related roles, primarily in defense, automotive, telecom, and medtech.
We are now looking for a Consulting Manager who wants to develop our consultants and contribute to Sylog's continued growth in Stockholm.
About the Role
The role is broad, operational, and business-focused, with significant personal responsibility and good opportunities to make an impact. As a Consulting Manager at Sylog, you have overall responsibility for your consultants and ensure that they are satisfied, developing, and well-matched to their assignments. From day one, you will be responsible for an existing team of consultants and will simultaneously be an important part of developing the team and business over time. We are looking for someone who thrives in clear leadership where responsibility, structure, and long-term thinking are central parts of daily work. The role involves close collaboration with both consultants and internal partners, where you are responsible for creating stability, quality, and development within the team.
You will, among other things:
• Have full personnel responsibility for a team of technical consultants
• Be responsible for employee meetings, performance, satisfaction, competence development, and work environment
• Monitor utilization, assignments, and delivery quality
• Coach and support consultants in their long-term development and career
• Work closely with customer teams to ensure correct competence matching and long-term customer relationships
• Contribute to the development of working methods, structure, and team over time
• Actively contribute to our culture and community
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who has a secure, clear, and structured leadership style and who thrives in a role where you work closely with people, delivery, and operations.
You have:
• Several years of experience with formal personnel responsibility in consulting or technology-intensive operations
• Experience leading and developing consulting teams over time
• Experience with salary discussions, employee meetings, and competence development
• A good understanding of the consulting business and technology-intensive environments
• A technical background, preferably an engineering degree
• The ability to create structure, clarity, and long-term relationships
• Experience working close to operations in an organization with high pace and many contact points
