Thanks to our strong trust and unique position, we are given the opportunity to work on some of the industry's most interesting projects where we together contribute to safe and sustainable energy supply. Our team focusing on nuclear power safety is now seeking a colleague who is curious about new and exciting development opportunities. The team currently consists of 12 knowledgeable and engaged consultants working on assignments within nuclear power and reactor safety, and nuclear waste and radiation protection matters. In this consultant role, your work tasks may include: Investigations, analyses, and requirement management related to nuclear power safety Work with licensing and authorization matters Prepare radiation safety reports for nuclear facilities in operation Interpret and apply safety regulations for existing and new planned nuclear facilities Investigate questions related to radioactive waste in the decommissioning of nuclear power plants Depending on your focus and interests, we also see that other related work tasks may be relevant, such as: Needs analyses, feasibility studies, and consulting Project or investigation management in multidisciplinary projects or within reactor safety, licensing, or radioactive waste Work with systems and facility matters within nuclear power safety Mentoring junior colleagues and/or leading teams In this role, you will be based at our headquarters in Solna. We offer a flexible workday where office and remote work are combined with close collaboration with our customers' organizations. Regular travel to nuclear power facilities occurs as a result and may occasionally involve overnight stays. Qualifications To succeed and thrive in the role, we are looking for someone who enjoys analyzing complex issues and problems. You have a structured work approach and an eye for detail. You follow procedures and processes carefully and at the same time have a good ability to adapt to changed circumstances. Since a large part of the role involves interpreting and drafting documents, it is important that you communicate clearly in both speech and writing in Swedish and English. Equally important is that you enjoy collaborating and sharing knowledge, both with colleagues and customers. You are responsible and are happy to take the initiative to establish new contacts and collaborative relationships and to find new solutions and improvements for our customers. Further, you have: Several years of experience in the nuclear power industry that has given you good facility knowledge and knowledge within environmental, authorization matters, and/or safety reports Relevant post-secondary education Good knowledge of Swedish and English We further consider it meriting if you have: Worked with energy matters within a government agency Experience with nuclear waste management, radiation protection matters, and/or radiological matters Civil engineering education or higher academic education within energy or environmental fields B-class driver's license Since the position operates within security-classified areas, you will undergo drug testing and security vetting with record check according to Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act before employment can commence.
