As a Structural Designer with us...
you'll have a key role with significant responsibility and influence over both technical and business aspects. You're responsible for developing and delivering technically sound and economically optimized solutions in facade brick, thereby contributing to our long-term growth in this area. The role encompasses both operational and strategic tasks, with an emphasis on technical development, support, optimization, and coordination in both early-stage and ongoing facade projects. You'll have many points of contact, internally with colleagues from different disciplines and externally with architects, clients, and other partners.
Your work tasks will include:
Dimensioning of brick solutions with a focus on safety and durability.
Development of technically and economically optimized solutions.
Calculation and documentation of brick quantities and associated masonry products.
Preparation of drawing documentation for projects.
Close collaboration with architects, clients, and other stakeholders to identify and optimize structural and economic conditions without compromising aesthetic or technical details.
Responsibility for developing quotation documentation, calculations, and technical solution proposals.
Collaboration and reporting
You report to the team leader for structural designers and work closely with the sales department, project department, and quotation preparation to ensure technically correct and consistent solutions. You're expected to actively participate in meetings, contribute your expertise, and use feedback as part of the team's shared development.
About you
We believe you have a civil or higher technical degree in building construction and documented experience in building construction. You have approximately five years of experience in building construction or similar technical design roles and are comfortable independently managing structural design questions through different phases of a project.
As a person, you're thorough, organized, and comfortable with responsibility. You find it easy to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple assignments simultaneously. You have a professional and collaborative approach and good communication skills. Furthermore, you're solution-oriented and service-minded and see the value in being a reliable and accessible partner throughout the entire project process.
We'd like you to have:
Good knowledge of AutoCAD
Experience working in Excel and other Office suite programs
Fluent Swedish and English in speech and writing
B-class driver's license
Meritorious
Experience working with brick as a building material
Experience from the construction and civil engineering industry
Previous customer contact or consulting work
