Processes design documentation according to the needs of the manufacturing department within the scope of responsibility. Processes design documentation for product and fixture changes and modifications. Manages drawing documentation. Performs tolerance calculations and investigates design solutions. Works with software for product data management. Collaborates on resolving design problems arising from quality assurance requirements in production. Proposes modifications to design documentation for the purpose of component standardization and error elimination. Prepares analyses, studies, and projects to support assigned departments with the goal of maximum process rationalization. Collaborates on analyses of development test results and presents the findings of these tests.
