DESIGN ENGINEER (m/f)

What awaits you:
Your primary responsibilities will include creating and modifying technical drawings, 3D modeling and editing of parts and assemblies. These modifications are performed as part of new product development or in response to change management requests. Your role will also include prototype creation using 3D printing and physical assembly and installation of prototypes in the workshop. You'll participate in development projects and the implementation of new technical solutions in the industry. Our product portfolio consists of components for motorhomes and caravans such as entrance and service doors (flaps), hinges, motion mechanics, and locks. Manufacturing processes used include welding, stamping, cutting, laser cutting, bending, embossing, and screwing. This position is also suitable for recent graduates or students in technical fields. We're happy to help you get started, but we do expect independent and careful work.
How we see you:
graduate of a secondary industrial or higher technical school
an active and independent person
a reliable and responsible team player who:
has proficiency in MS Office and 3D CAD software (SolidEDGE, SOLIDWORKS, Inventor, Creo, …)
is capable of reading and creating technical drawings
has knowledge of basic mechanics and physics (force decomposition and diagrams, understands fundamental strength calculations)
is manually skilled
English or German language skills at a conversational level
The workplace is located in České Budějovice in a manufacturing facility in newly renovated spaces. A company parking lot is available, or the Slévárenská bus stop is located 5 minutes from the workplace. You can start immediately.
