Welcome to us We're looking for you who has completed conservator training and has experience working in a museum. As a conservator at Museums and Art, you'll work in a team with other conservators, collection antiquarians and a museum assistant. The workplace is mostly based in storage environments. The work tasks vary with an emphasis on preventive care and conservation, but the work also includes work within exhibition activities at the department's two museums (Stadsmuseet and Medeltidsmuseet). The role also includes curatorial tasks such as monitoring climate and cooling systems. Your role Your role will give you significant responsibility and the opportunity to work in several different collaborations. In broad terms, it includes: - Preventive work to create good conditions for our collections - Care for, handle and conserve objects of various materials - Carry out assignments in other departments in the city (20%) Your competence and experience We're looking for you who has completed the conservator program and has experience in museum work as a conservator. Particularly valuable is if you have experience as a wood and furniture conservator.
