JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
In your role as a Composite Operator, you'll become part of the company's Layup team and work hands-on with the manufacturing of composite parts for electric boats. You will contribute to creating lightweight, strong, and high-quality hulls, decks, and other structures.
Your responsibilities will include:
Prepare and maintain composite molds, for example mold care and application of release agent
Work with composite materials in molds according to instructions and work descriptions
Perform layup of pre-preg materials such as fiberglass and carbon fiber, including cutting, placement, and packing
Ensure correct lamination and high quality in the manufacturing process
Participate in vacuum processes and curing of composite parts
Quality control your own work and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
Work according to 5S principles and contribute to a safe, organized, and clean work environment
Prepare manufactured parts for painting
PERSONAL QUALITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
To thrive in the role of Composite Operator, you are meticulous, quality-conscious, and have an eye for detail. You enjoy practical work and are motivated by creating products with high precision and quality.
You are someone who takes responsibility for your work and find it easy to work both independently and collaboratively with others. You are in good physical condition and enjoy working in a production and factory environment where tasks can vary.
We would like to see that you have the following qualifications:
Practical experience with composite work, lamination, or similar manufacturing work
Experience from, for example, the boat, automotive, aerospace, or wind energy industry is a plus
Good understanding of quality and precision in manufacturing processes
Good physical condition and enjoy practical work
Swedish in speech and writing
English is a plus
It is also an advantage if you have:
Experience with pre-preg materials, carbon fiber, or other advanced composites
Knowledge of mold care, mold repair, and vacuum technology
Education in composites, lamination, or industrial production
B driving license
