The Ear, Nose, and Throat Clinic is a regional clinic consisting of, among other things, two reception areas. One reception is located at Linköping University Hospital and the other is located at Vrinnevi Hospital in Norrköping. Job Description
As a nursing assistant in our operations, your task is to help prepare and assist at doctor-led reception areas. You assist the doctor by preparing rooms for the day's reception and at the end of the day by tidying up the rooms. We place great emphasis on order and organization as well as carrying out tasks with quality. We see patient groups from zero years and up, in both elective and acute care. We also have a small unit for polyclinic procedures.
Work Group
We are a small staff of 16 people. The staff at the reception consists of nursing assistants and nurses with extensive experience in our specialty.
About You
You have completed secondary education with at least 2,250 points in the Healthcare and Care Program or equivalent. For adult education, completed secondary education with at least 1,400 points in the Healthcare and Care Program or equivalent. You have good administrative skills and computer literacy. Experience with the Cosmic medical records system is a merit.
As a person, you are driven by seeing opportunities for change, but you are also stress-resistant and can adapt in different situations, which requires flexibility. We would like to see that you can plan and prioritize your work efficiently based on the operations' goals. Since we are a work group where you are part of the whole, collaboration is important for the team and the ability to work independently. You listen and communicate in a constructive manner. You are thorough and quality-conscious.
To thrive with us, you have an interest in meeting people. You use your knowledge, skills, and abilities in interactions with patients or in care situations. Experience with reception work is a merit. Since you are part of a team around the patient, it is important that you can express yourself well in the Swedish language, both orally and in writing.
