Service Description The Service Administration is Falun Municipality's provider of internal service and support functions according to an FM concept, facility provision, and management of most of the municipality's properties. The task is to support the municipality's various operations by providing appropriate and functional facilities, tasty and nutritious meals, vehicles and transportation services, and other support services. Falun Municipality is the leading public employer in the region for developing FM services and support based on BIM. This development takes place in both construction and facility management. Eating habits and attitudes toward food are often established at a young age. Good and nutritious meals provide excellent conditions for development and a healthy and active life. Quality meals are important for increasing children's and young people's ability to learn and benefit from educational activities. We who are employed within the Service Administration work to ensure that children and students are offered good and nutritious meals prepared with great care. Job Responsibilities Your tasks at Södraskolan consist of preparing breakfast, snacks and salads, as well as serving lunch, cleaning and washing dishes. You may also be responsible for orders, statistics and documentation in the food data system Matilda, as well as documentation of self-checks based on HACCP. The position also includes cleaning of other facilities. When needed during school days or breaks, other placements may be relevant. Qualifications The role requires: Education and/or professional experience within the field or in large-scale kitchens/restaurants Basic IT skills are required to handle our ordering systems, email, smartphone and personnel systems, as well as communicate via email with your manager and colleagues Since part of the work involves being able to work according to a job description and being able to provide written and/or oral documentation yourself, good skills in the Swedish language are required, both spoken and written. Meritorious Qualifications: Upper secondary school restaurant and food program Knowledge of special diets (allergy-friendly meals) Education or experience in facility management Category B driver's license Terms of Employment The position of kitchen assistant at Södraskolan is a permanent full-time position. Start date by agreement. Working hours are scheduled daytime Monday-Friday. Interviews may take place continuously during the application period.
