We are the government agency responsible for prisons, probation services, remand facilities, and prisoner transport.
Job Description
As a kitchen assistant, you will work as part of a team that includes both a kitchen manager and cooks. In the production kitchen, you will perform varied tasks such as salad preparation, some cooking, receiving goods, packing raw ingredients for breakfast and evening meals, conducting quality control inspections in accordance with applicable regulations, cleaning, and dishwashing. Work is carried out in collaboration with other kitchen staff as well as personnel in other departments.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is dependable, stable, and self-aware. You remain calm and composed under stress and collaborate well with others. You have good judgment and take responsibility for your assignments.

We are looking for someone who has:
Restaurant or large-scale catering education at upper secondary level, or other education combined with experience that the Swedish Prison and Probation Service deems relevant
Ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish
It is also an advantage to have:
Experience working in large-scale kitchens
Experience conducting quality control inspections
Experience working with specialized diets
Relevant language skills
NOTE: This is a temporary hourly position with no guaranteed hours.
