We are now seeking a Kitchen Manager for STF Saltoluokta Mountain Station starting winter season 2027 Here you'll prepare rustic, thoughtful meals using local ingredients, enjoy the aromas from the kitchen and the view over vast mountains. In our small team, you'll become part of the warmth and community, where each day offers stunning views and new encounters – and each evening tastes extra special after mountain adventures. As Kitchen Manager, you lead the team in daily operations. Life at a mountain station is varied, exciting and educational, just like a day in the mountains can be. In our group we support each other and help with other parts of the mountain station when needed. Our values – thoughtful, curious, genuine, professional and engaged – guide everything we do. What does the Kitchen Manager role involve? Plan, lead and participate in daily kitchen operations Procurement and receiving deliveries Create, write and implement menus for the facility Ensure food safety, self-inspection and HACCP Actively contribute to your own and colleagues' development Support the mountain station with other tasks as needed Who are you? Experienced cook or passionate about cooking with large-scale kitchen experience Previous experience as a leader Value structure and clarity, prefer teamwork and take responsibility for both details and the big picture Driven to work toward set financial goals and find solutions that deliver results Strong knowledge of Swedish and English We value your drive, communication skills and ability to create the best conditions for guest interactions that align with STF values – thoughtful, curious, genuine, professional and engaged. What you can expect as an employee: Employment type: Seasonal work, February to October 2027 with possibility of extension Position level 85%-100% Monthly salary according to collective agreement: Visita/HRF's Green National Agreement and Tourism Supplement Work schedule follows operational needs and includes work on weekdays and weekends, daytime and evenings Meal deduction according to collective agreement, regulated by the Swedish Tax Agency What do we offer?
