KITCHEN MANAGER / COOK / COLD FOOD SPECIALIST FOR NEW MARU MATCAFÉ

MARU is a new food café where we want to create a warm, lively, and personal place with really good food in the heart of the city.
We're now looking for you – a cook or cold food specialist with experience from similar operations – to take on an important role as kitchen manager with us.
We're not looking for someone who just wants to step into a ready-made concept. Quite the opposite.
We want to build the menu together with you.
We have a clear vision for what MARU should be – modern, generous, and uncomplicated, with some beloved classics that can get a new twist. But we also want to leave room for your experience, creativity, and your ideas.
MARU will serve breakfast, coffee and pastries, and lunch, and we'll also be doing catering. That's why we love it if you enjoy variety and find it just as enjoyable to create a really good breakfast as a beautiful lunch, salad, sandwich, or something sweet with coffee.
Who are we looking for?
You're self-driven, responsible, and confident in the kitchen. You like order and structure but also have the creativity and curiosity to develop new dishes and flavors.
You need to be able to take responsibility for the kitchen's daily operations, planning, purchasing, ingredients, hygiene, and routines – but most importantly, we want to find someone who is passionate about food and wants to help shape MARU together with us.
Experience from similar work in a café, restaurant, lunch operation, cold kitchen, or catering is highly desirable and will be prioritized.
And perhaps most importantly: you're someone who loves people. MARU should be a warm and welcoming workplace where the kitchen and café work together.
