About Us
We are a specialized eating disorders unit for children and young people up to 25 years old. We have 8 beds divided between children and family as well as youth services. We are currently co-located while waiting for new facilities in 2028.
During treatment, which lasts approximately 12 and 8 weeks respectively, patients with serious eating disorders receive treatment according to a structured care program. The unit is part of a care pathway that includes specialized outpatient care and day care. Ward work at the unit is conducted in teams. The team includes physicians, nurses, nursing assistants, a counselor, a chef, a family therapist, and a psychologist. We also collaborate with a dietitian, physical therapist, occupational therapist, and music therapist.
The unit has the mandate for National Highly Specialized Care (NHV) for difficult-to-treat eating disorders. Intensive development work is ongoing at the facility. As part of this, we are strengthening competency levels through joint training initiatives.
We have an exciting time ahead and now welcome you as a chef to the team.
We can offer you good working hours Monday through Friday, with weekends and holidays off. The unit offers training in the eating disorders field.
